Last week, the province’s Auditor General, Jim McCarter, released his annual report on government spending.
While the report highlights many areas that need improvement, his review of the government’s energy strategy is the most telling.

When it was first announced, I was hopeful the McGuinty government’s proposed Healthy Homes Renovation Tax Credit would provide meaningful financial assistance for seniors wanting to make renovations that will allow them to stay in their homes longer.

Greetings from the OSR crew! We ended our summer last week (Aug. 22-25) with a bang!
On Monday, we headed out with Ralph Hill, a council member of Rainy River District Stewardship, to put up pine marten nesting boxes along Wasaw Road, north of La Vallee.
